+ JMJ Even if the next Pope is a Pius XIII, Francis' legacy will be with us for a long time and the question is how to survive it as a Catholic. (N.B. I am writing this on April 29, 2025) I was thinking what advice would I give for weathering the storm to someone new to Tradition or even to the Catholic Church? First, remember that your first goal is to save your own soul and then those with whom you have an immediate relationship. That would be your spouse, children, parents, siblings etc. Second, is to hold true to what the Church actually teaches as opposed to theories. Theories includes how to determine when a Pope loses the papacy via heresy. If Pope Francis' papacy showed us anything, it showed the resilience of the Church to crossing the line into heresy. Third, feed your spiritual life with good reading. That mean spiritual works like the lives of saints, meditations like the Imitation of Christ etc. So pray, go to Mass and keep yourself in p...
