Tony La Rosa is complaining about the lack of structure hampering the 'resistance'.
Here's the reasons given by Bishop Faure:
There are two main reasons why Bishop Faure said that a hierarchically structured society akin to the former SSPX would be difficult to establish at this point in time:So something happened to the SSPX under Bishop Fellay - hmmm, yes I know what - they didn't compromise on V2 and the New Mass and maintained relations with Rome. This doesn't jive with Tony's opinion that Rome must convert and grovel before the traditionalists before any canonical regularization could be considered.
- It is dangerous to have a centralized organization (just look at what happened to the SSPX under Bishop Fellay);
- There are strong-willed Resistance priests who would not want to be part of an organization.
Point two is telling to the extreme. The reason why the 'resistance' priests are independent isn't that they are 'strong-willed', but that they prefer their own will as opposed to their former superiors (yes Fr. Pfeiffer - you are no longer a member of the SSPX).
In short they are rebels without a cause as they have abandoned the principle of obedience.
I predict that these 'strong willed' priests will continue to fragment into oblivion.
