In part A of this series, Kevin puts forward what I would label as the 'ick' factor associated with a vaccine that may contain human DNA.

Would it be a problem is the vaccine's were made using cells from a volunteer who is still living or a baby that miscarried?
It is still the same 'ick' factor, but the moral factor would be removed.
The core issue is the moral factor, not whether or not there are human cells involved, otherwise cornea and kidney transplants would be immoral.
So, I'm focusing on the moral factor and I have discovered that it is not a simple black and white case.
There are a series of Intentions → Actions → Effects that are involved and they are separated by decades.
This is the realm of moral theology and involves the principle of double effect as well as how we participate in the sins of others.
This will take a while!
