At least that's how it feels ... a little. ... even in the Easter Season!
Only a few people at our SSPX chapel are able to go to Mass (following provincial rules for social distancing), but we have been making appointments to get the Sacraments.
Driving through the nearby city had an almost apocalyptic feel, with streets bare, few people in sight.
Given that it is spring (ish) and we've had a number of late snow fall hasn't helped.
All the same, I am grateful for the priests of the SSPX. At least we can make appointments for confession and communion.
When spots are available some of us can still get to Mass!
Something to ponder:
This pandemic is truly not that bad. Yes people are dying, but not in numbers comparable to the Bubonic plague or even the Spanish Flu.
I feel that this is a warning from God.
At the height of our pride in our accomplishments God has shown us, once again, how one of the smallest of his creatures (virus) can bring our society to its knees, even if its people are still stiff necked. and refuse to repent.
