Catholics need to be ready for a new reality of living in a InChristian World

+ JMJ In North America, the truth is evident, we need to adapt to  living in an InChristian world where our values are in conflict with those being pushed upon society. P^3 Courtesy of FSSPX.news India: Catholic Schools in Danger August 30, 2019 Source: fsspx.news Since the recent re-election of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, hostility against Christian schools has moved up a notch in India. As proof, this declaration by a high magistrate openly evoking the danger for young girls to attend such schools. The case dates back to August 15, 2019, when Judge Vaidyanathan, who sits in the Madras High Court, publicly warned parents against Christian schools which in his view are “a danger to the future of girls.” The magistrate was speaking after a sordid history of abuse that a teacher at Madras Christian College—a Protestant institution—was guilty of against a minor, and the story of w...

The Horrible Reality of Canada's 'Healthcare'

+ JMJ This reminds me of the 'ministers of euthanasia' from an old book. Truth is stranger than fiction. P^3 https://fsspx.news/en/news-events/news/canada-utopia-dystopia-50177 Canada: From Utopia to Dystopia August 29, 2019 Source: fsspx.news A patient suffering from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) resigned himself to starting a medically assisted death procedure—euthanasia—as the level of care which his condition needs was no longer supported by the state. Canadians are discovering that their social model is turning into a nightmare: limiting access to care, while supporting assisted suicide. “No one should have to feel death is the only option due to lack of care,” said Dr. Leonie Herx, a physician in Toronto, Canada, in response to the news of Sean Tagert’s death. The 41-year-old father had a neurodegenerative pathology, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known...

Communiqué of the Superior General of the Society about the Synod on the Amazon

+ JMJ Well the Synod was pretty bad ... but I find it interesting that the SSPX seems more sad than mad.  My read is that they have accepted the reality of the situation and the reality of what is possible to do in this situation. If I am correct, it shows that the SSPX is much further along in the grieving process than some of the other opinions that I read this afternoon. Calling for PF1's removal is ... frankly ... idiotic.  The last time a Pope so ticked off the Church (bishops etc) that they elected another ... it resulted in the Western Schism . There is a definite lack of patience amongst the newly awakened conservatives & Traditional Catholics. Nonetheless, their anger and frustration (finally) does show that they've stopped moving the line in the sand. Synod on the Amazon: Still Terrible

+ JMJ Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse! Be patient, work out your salvation in fear and trembling, for God is Just. P^3 Courtesy of SSPX.ca Synod on the Amazon: Still Terrible October 25, 2019 Source: fsspx.news While the final document of the synod on the Amazon is being drawn up,—invoking the figure of St. Francis of Assisi!—the two weeks of work that have just taken place have been dotted with events as grotesque and shocking as those that opened it. The church of Santa Maria in Traspontina has been the scene of particularly scandalous spectacles. The images speak for themselves. Dances and pagan rites—vaguely Christianized—giving free rein to shamanic spirits rather than the breath of the Holy Spirit. The Indigenous Way of the Cross On October 19, the Stations of the Cross took place to the sound of guitars and tambourines, mixing the instrument of the supr...

Just Remember the title is Christ the King, not Christ the Kind ... here come the Deaconesses

+ JMJ Well, I guess they will keep trying to have priestesses and deaconesses until they get their way. However, this does fit with a part of Pope Francis' character - which I will write up in an article when time allows. Anyone who proceeds to try to ordain a women needs to remember that one of Our Lord Jesus Christ's titles is "Christ the King", not "Christ the Kind". Justice will be meted out by the King and it will not be done with kindness, but with exactitude. Everyone will get exactly what they deserve according to the Justice of God. P^3 Courtesy of Rorate-Caeli Ecclesia Amazonica - Prepare Your Hearts: Deaconesses Coming Up Sometime in the Near Future The Amazon Synod, indirectly bankrolled by the pro-abortion Ford Foundation via its main organizer ( REPAM ), ended today with an explosive decision, one that will shake the foundations of the Church even more than it did the Anglican Communion decades ago. In his f...

SSPX: The Deadly Dangers of Interfaith Dialogue

+ JMJ There are lots of dangers in ecumenism and its offspring "interfaith dialogue". The obvious one was the Assisi meetings ... but there is a long and inglorious list of cringe worthy events. Pray for the conversion of sinners. P^3 Courtesy of FSSPX.news August 02, 2019 Source: fsspx.news Bishop Indunil Janakaratne Kodithuwakku Kankanamalage (left of Pope Francis) Pope Francis has appointed Fr. Indunil Janakaratne Kodithuwakku Kankanamalage as Secretary of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue. He is a priest of the diocese of Badulla, Sri Lanka, who until now has been the assistany-secretary of this department. In an interview with Rome Reports , the prelate said that there are “clear signs that not everyone in the Muslim world is accepting jihadism.” He is basing this statement on the document “Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together” that was signed by ...

Our Lord Jesus Christ is still King

+ JMJ  In these dark times it is vitally important to remember that Our Lord Jesus Christ is still King, that this particular crisis won't last forever and that now is the day in which to work out your salvation! P^3 h/t to Vox Cantoris !

Does the Society of Saint Pius X Only Know How to Criticize?

+ JMJ A timely article (I think) given the importance of not losing peace of soul in the midst of this storm and of not having itching ears for bad news. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. —  2 Timothy 4:3-4 KJV  Many Catholic has strayed off the road, hit the guard-rails and continued into the precipice.  Stay on the Catholic road, don't go on the shoulder of the 'resistance', sedevacantists, benevacantists, modernists, et al. P^3 Courtesy of FSSPX.news July 23, 2019 Source: fsspx.news The latest issue of the Letter to Our Brother Priests (No. 82, June 2019), addressed to the clergy of France by the Society of Saint Pius X (SSPX), contains an interesting response to a frequent objection. SSPX: There is no victory without battle

+ JMJ There is no human solution to this crisis ... however I suspect that humans will be instrumental in the resolution of it. P^3 Courtesy of FSSPX.news In Festo Assumptionis Beatæ Mariæ Virginis: There is no Victory without Battle August 15, 2019 Source: fsspx.news Conquering Heaven. The Church is only Triumphant because it is Militant. There is no victory where there is no battle, there is no prize where there is no contest, and there is no wage where there is no labor. This truth is so compelling that Job says that the life of man upon earth is a warfare (Job 7:1). And although Heaven is the place of victory after the battle, Heaven itself is in a posture of war. The first battle of all time was waged in heaven between St. Michael and Lucifer, and since then, the angels have helped men fight the evil spirits. In the Old Testament the angels are often referred to as “hosts”, just ...

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass: A Triple Comparison

+ JMJ I came across this comparison in a flyer at church a few weeks ago and think it is pretty good. I had assumed that it was from the SSPX, but the only online version is on a Chinese Catholic website. So for reference! P^3 Source: Ch inese Catholic Conclusion :  It is therefore very clear that the New Mass expresses a departure from the traditional teaching of the Church and a great likeness to Luther’s heretical reforms.  Many Protestants themselves have approved this, such as Br. Roger from Taize. . What is offered at Mass? The Traditional Catholic Doctrine The Doctrine of Martin Luther on the Mass The new teaching in the Catholic Church The Mass being the same sacrifice as the Sacrifice of Calvary requires then the same Victim, really, truly and substantially pr...

Amazon.com Synod

+ JMJ While the amazon.com synod will soon be a thing of the past. While the smell lingers, here's some articles on the topic! P^3 New Discordant Notes in the Synodal Symphony August 29, 2019 Source: fsspx.news The bishop of Regensburg, Germany, has once again publicly questioned the synodal process launched by the German bishops. For the prelate, it is neither more nor less a question of aligning the Catholic Church with Protestantism. Bishop Rudolf Voderholzer does not intend to be dictated to by the president of the German Bishops’ Conference (DBK), Cardinal Reinhardt Marx, who, at the last plenary meeting of the DBK, announced his intention to undertake, “a compelling synodal route for the Church in Germany.” A “constraining” process, if any since it involves questioning priestly celibacy, the teachings of the Church in matters of morals, and adopting measures limiting ecclesial power. These are ...
